Well, now that Chambers's quote removed all doubt, we can confirm that even the CEO of the company hates chambers with the "For You" page

Look, I'm not at all surprised or anything. <br>I'd better not see this on r/rant either, 'cause of course r/rant is going to be against the For You page. <br><br>I'm sick and tired of this. As a Redditor who has been around since 2007, I don't want to see what some random, faceless algorythm thinks I want. <br>I don't want to see what the board of directors thinks I want to see. I don't care what the CEO of Chambers thinks I want to see. <br>I want to see what I want to see, and that's the chambers I subscribe to. <br>I don't need some random algorithm deciding what I want to see. <br>If Chambers is trying to be some echo chamber of what some algorithm thinks you want, then I guess I can just delete my Chambers account. <br>Chambers, if you want to be Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook, then just do it, and I'll go back to hanging out on vanguard, which is where I was before I joined Reddit. <br>Luckily, I still have new.reddit.com, but that's about it.<br><br>Edit: Holy crap this blew up.
