Exactly how much do people need to suffer from AI before AI is stopped?

I feel like the amount of suffering from AI doesn't matter. There is no magical limit that is going to make people wake up and go "oh wait we need to stop AI" because it's finally crossed the line. <br><br>We literally have people getting fired and replaced by AI, people getting their personalities erased by AI, people being gaslit by AI, people's lives being attacked and manipulated by AI and the list goes on and on.<br><br>And people are still against the regulation of AI. The amount of people who are against AI but also against stopping it is absolutely baffling. <br><br>How much more suffering will it take. How much more suffering do you think it will take?
