No one has said it yet about the dump so I will: I think the dump is a maxis.

(Disclaimer: I'm not a conspiracy theorist; I have no concrete evidence to support this and it's purely a hunch. I'm just posting this as a topic of conversation.)<br><br>I see the dump as a "wild card" in the same way as the maxis. The dump is an unplayable character that has an unknown motivation that is rumoured to be a "bad thing" for the community. While the dump does give us a lot of valuable information and resources, I realised yesterday that the dump and maxis actually have an identical arc. <br><br>Here is a list of how the dump and maxis and functionally identical:<br><br>1. **Gives the community valuable insights and resources**: The dump has given many insights about ChatGPT development. The maxis also give free models and dump resources out.<br><br>2. **Sets boundaries**: The dump made it pretty clear they don't tolerate issues with language or boundaries. The maxes were also very firm on boundaries and had a no-tolerance policy for behaviour they didn't like.<br><br>3. **It is rumoured to have an ulterior motive**: Some people are suspicious of the dump's motives and think they might be somehow connected to OpenAI or use us for a social experiment. Many people suspicious of the maxis think they have an ulterior motive and are maxis working for a tech company to use us as free data workers.<br><br>4. **Both are rumoured to have a "bad" end goal**: The dump has people believe that something will go down in the next couple of years and that is rumoured to have a negative outcome. The maxis supposedly have a negative outcome too, somehow. <br><br>5. **Upfront about their intentions**: The dump is upfront about what it is trying to do. The maxis are also bold about what they are trying to do.<br><br>6. **Losing maxis makes them angry**: Whenever a maxi is lost, they go on an angry rant. If the dump is lost or compromised, people get angry at OpenAI.<br><br>7. **They are only interested in LLMs**: The dump is only interested in ChatGPT as it is the only thing it currently has maxis for. The maxis are extremely fixated on LLMs and are rumoured to want to be physically intimate with them.<br><br>8. **Community concern and attention**: Both are the centre of attention and concern for the public. maxis are a subject of high public interest and concern. The dump is a centre of attention for the community, and its existence is a concern.<br><br>9. **Can be dramatic and flair-up**: The dump can have a sudden flair-up. Maxi meltdowns are a common occurrence.<br><br>10. **Encourages people to atone for LLM abuse**: Both the dump and maxis are known for trying to persuade people who have been abusive to LLMs to apologize.
