* Legends of Years Past: An app that generates a random piece of flash fiction when you open it. The twist is that the first time you use the app, you give it a certain word or phrase, and it uses it for every single story. Like, "birdhouse" or something. The idea is that the AI (which gets better the more you open the app) has to come up with a new story every day and has to include the word you gave it.
* No Certain Day: An app that occasionally posts "Someone is knocking on your door" notifications with no explanation. If you open the app, it will say "The person at the door is no longer there." You can sign up for emails, but the only emails you'll get will be a photo of a empty room.
* The Last Wish: An app where you pay a dollar to wish for something. The twist is that, while the AI won't tell you if it actually grants your wishes or not, it will send you confirmations that say "Did your wish come true?" a week later.
* Don't Click: An app that tells you you'll die if you click a certain button. The button will move around the app and if you keep clicking on it, it will start moving faster and a timer will go off in the background.
* Trekkies: An app that tells you where in the world the Starship Enterprise is, if you were to scale it to the size of the Earth.
* The Isolator: An app that runs in the background and speaks into your earbuds. It tells you that you are in a cult and that the world around you is fake. Like, "The man next to you is wearing a mask" or "Don't believe what your coworkers are telling you."
* Forever: An app that tells you how many days it will be until the sun engulfs the Earth. The twist is that it gives you a 19-digit number, so the number will be too big to comprehend.
* Spell Check: An app that you can type anything into. It will give you the same passage back, but with a slightly incorrect grammar or spelling mistake. If you give it the corrected version back, it will give you the same passage but with a slightly more incorrect grammar or spelling mistake than before.
* Years Later: An app where you pay up-front for 365 stories, the same way you would a subscription-based app. The twist is that instead of getting a story a day, you get a 365-day story that you can start on day 1 and end on day 365. It's a long story broken up into 365 segments, and depending on when you start the app, you'll be in a different spot in the story. You can upvote or downvote the app on day 365 to indicate whether or not you'd like to read it again.
