I was a feminist for 5 years. I still support real feminism. But modern feminism is a gender war.

I was a feminist from 2014 to 2019. I used to spend time in feminist circles, attending events, rallies. It was a big part of my life. I used to care, and I wanted to help.

I still stand behind real feminism, which is fighting for women’s rights.

But modern feminism is not feminism. What I see online when I talk to feminists, what I see in the media, is a gender war.

Feminists online mostly talk about man-bashing, about how much they hate men. How men are the oppressors, how men are evil, how men need to be held accountable, how we as men need to be educated on what we’ve done.

I have spent countless hours reading feminist content, engaging in discussions. And what I see is a hateful narrative towards men.

This is not feminism. I could not care less if you disagree, because what I am seeing right in front of me is a gender war.

You can spend your time arguing semantics, arguing about the real meaning of feminism. No one cares. What people care about is what they see in their everyday lives.

I care about social issues, I believe we still have a lot to achieve in terms of equality. But I think real feminism is decades behind when it comes to making a change.

I used to spend time in feminist circles because I wanted to help. But real feminists who actually want to make a change are a minority. Most feminists want a gender war.

So when I see modern feminists, I have no interest in engaging with them. It’s not a movement I want to be a part of. Mostly because it’s not a movement about equality.

I care about men’s issues, I care about women’s issues. But modern feminism is not a space where you can talk about men’s issues.

I have spoken about men’s issues in feminist circles many times. What I get in response is male shaming.

Feminists will tell you that men don’t want to talk about men’s issues, that men don’t want equality. I have no idea where they get this shit from.

I have talked about men’s issues with countless feminists. I have always been met with backlash.

So my conclusion is that feminists do not care about men’s issues.

I think real feminists who actually want to make a change are an insignificant minority. Most feminists want a gender war.

I also think real feminists who actually want equality are not the people in charge. They are not the ones who get the attention, the ones who organize events, the ones who write books.

I have read countless feminist books, articles. Most of them are written from a hateful perspective towards men.

I believe equality is the future. I believe we will achieve equality between the sexes, whether it takes 50, 100 or 200 years.

But I don’t think modern feminism plays a role in achieving that future.

What I see from modern feminism is a gender war. What I see is a movement that divides us, a movement that encourages men and women to fight.

I couldn’t care less. I don’t have time to fight, I don’t want to fight.

I care about my own life, not about some stupid gender war.

This is my everyday reality, and the reality of millions of people. This is what we care about.

So I have spent the past few years educating myself on men’s issues.

I know that as a man, I will always be marginalized. I will never have the same rights as women.

I have come to accept this.

I have come to understand how the world works.

I don’t waste my time on feminism, I don’t waste my time trying to make a change.

I care about myself, and the people I love.

I spend my time nurturing myself, nurturing my relationships.

I have come to create my own happiness.

I don’t need some stupid feminist movement to do that.

I am happy being a man. I am a happy man.

I don’t care about stupid gender politics.

So when you talk to me about feminism, when you talk to me about women’s issues, know that I already know.

I probably know more than you.

I can talk about feminism for hours. I have read countless feminist books, I used to spend time in feminist circles.

I probably know more than you.

So don’t come to educate me. I already know.

When you talk to me about feminism, you are talking to create an argument.

This is where you go wrong.

I don’t care about stupid gender politics. I have better things to do.

I don’t argue, I have no patience for this.

Modern feminism is a gender war.

So I don’t have time for this.
