Hello, I'm trying to teach my mum to make some money yourself for a week for a little exercise.

I spent 5 months making all my food myself and it was a failure. It was nearly impossible for me to make all of my meals, because the amount of time I had to put into cooking for a week. I really wish I had some help. Not that it was an impossible challenge but I wanted to have a life outside of cooking. I reeeally wanted to make all my food myself but it was too much for me and my budget to afford to make all my food myself. I was able to hold out for a while for a while, but eventually didn't have the money to afford to keep making all my food myself.

So I want to do another exercise but for a week. My mum is agreeing. What did you learn when you started to making more for yourself? Did you like to learn a new skill? What did you feel was the hardest part of making all your food yourself? Were there any unexpected things that you had to learn? Did you like having more control over your food?

I'm trying to put together a list for mum on what to expect for a week so she knows what the challenges would be. I want to help her grow to feel more confident in the kitchen so she knows what she should expect. I want her to be happy with the outcome of the exercise. I've never cooked with anyone before for a week so I'd like any input.

TLDR I'm doing an exercise with my mum to make yourself for a week what did you learn?
