This was based on a simple strategy of separation. <br><br>The people of Gaza will be able to rule themselves but they will not be able to harm the people of Israel. <br><br>The people of Gaza did not govern themselves. Hamas took over in 2006. <br><br>They've been firing rockets at Israel since 2005. <br><br>In 2012 Israel conducted operation Pillar of Defense. The war ended with a cease fire. <br><br>Hamas continued to fire rockets at Israel. In 2014 Israel conducted operation Protective Edge. The war ended with a cease fire. <br><br>During the years 2015-2021 Hamas continued to fire rockets at Israel. In 2021 Israel conducted operation Guardian of the walls. The war ended with a cease fire. <br><br>Now Israel is conducting operation Al-Aqsa Fury and operation Yamato. The war will not end with a cease fire. The war will end with the defeat of Hamas and Jihad. <br><br>It will end with the rebuild of Gaza via a joint Egyptian-Israeli effort. The Egyptian's need to be involved for it to work. <br><br>I hope Israel will finish the war with such a full scale operation in Gaza. And I hope Egypt will get involved with rebuilding Gaza.
