Facebook is facing a worrying slowdown in the US where its growth may be slowing down, warns a new report.<br><br>According to a report from eMarketer Inc., Facebook's growth rate in the US is expected to fall to 0.8% in 2023.<br><br>In other words, that means Facebook could see its smallest increase in the US since 2012 when it went public, as more of its user base shifts towards Instagram. The report warned: 'The social media landscape is ever-changing, and platforms are constantly evolving. In 2023, we expect Facebook to have 163.6 million monthly users in the US, representing just 45.3% of the country's population, down from 47% in 2022.'<br><br>When it went public in 2012, Facebook had 1.2 billion monthly active users. By the end of last year, that figure had risen to 2.96billion.<br><br>According to a report from eMarketer Inc., Facebook's growth rate in the US is expected to fall to 0.8% in 2023<br><br>Facebook decided to stop growing its user base long time ago.
