My friend is a good guy.

I cant stop smiling over this and cant wait to tell you all, but first a reminder that I have had a lot going on the past few months, which is why I havent posted much. I also cant tell you all too much bc I dont want to give away my storys by talking about them too much. So I again apologize if this post is different from my normal story posts or my usual explanations. Also, shout out to my 5 friends who’ve helped me keep the car running. We’ve only had to call a tow truck twice, but im getting better at figuring out what the fuck is going on.<br><br>Okay, now that you know what’s happening you can better get the humor later, but cant help but laugh. So I again had to call a tow truck bc the car died in the middle of the street and I had no cell service. With all the shit happening, I cant leave it in the middle of the road to die. So I’m sitting on the street in my car reading a book, and this guy is walking his dog down the street and sees me and asks what I need help with. I explain the situation and thank him for stopping but I’m okay. He tells me that his fiance has AAA bc she’s in college and she’s going to drive by soon so he’ll have her stop. His fiance has AAA plus, so she’s able to get us the max amount of tows allowed for the month, and he helps us get to my safe place to park it. <br><br>This was the first time that I’ve met him, but he just told me that if I were his daughter he’d want someone to help me, and then he thanks me for letting him do it. He then asks me to open the back of the car and grabs my spare tire, and him and his fiance help me put it on, and he even lets me keep it again bc he doesnt need it and it’s not his money. He then helps us get to a friends house that has a backyard we can keep the car in until we can get it to a mechanic, and his fiance is even nice enough to let me do my laundry at their place. I cant thank this guy enough, and he continues to tell me that he’d want someone to do the same for his daughter. I cant even begin to put into words how I’m feeling right now, and I can only hope that I get to meet this mans daughter one day so I can repay him.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>Edit: I’m 100% sure that he was not trying to get to his fiance. My friends fiance is very intense in a good way, and she was very stern in telling him to go back home bc he didnt need to help us, and from listening to her talk to him I could hear that she was fed up with him helping people. Also I feel very comfortable saying that he is my friend now, bc we have been texting since we met 3 weeks ago, and he even helped me change my oil. I’ve met his fiance, and she would never do anything to intentionally hurt someone, and she’s very protective over him. Also, just bc someone has AAA doesnt mean that everyone gets the same plan. <br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>Edit2: I finally found out my friends name and decided to check if he had any social media. When I checked his insta, his first post was of the tire, spare tire, and jack, and it said “Sometimes you just have to help someone bc, why not?” And then he tagged me and his fiance in it. Im very much inception-ing right now, so I will probably be back with more info once I calm down.
