Can I die on this dumb show?

I'm watching "The Try Guy" channel. They have a segment where they try other people's jobs to see how hard it is. One of them is a stay at home mom. They ask this stay at home mom if she could be the try guy for the day and they do her job for her.

The stay at home mom was complaining about how she takes care of 4 kids and how it's hard for her to be a stay at home mom and that she wants to work and have a career. At one point, she said, "it's so hard when your children get upset and start screaming at you".

I'm just, um, excuse me? Your kids are screaming at you? You let your kids scream at you? What? Is this some upper class first world problem? I grew up in a lower middle class household and was the oldest of 7 kids, so I've taken care of a lot of kids as a kid. I'm pretty sure every kid I took care of knew that if they screamed at me they would get disciplined or smacked.

When I was watching that video I thought to myself, "these kids don't need a stay at home mom, they need to not exist".

And don't even get me started on the stay at home dad. They had a kid that was constantly crying and whining. Good Lord.

The one thing that I didn't like was that the try guy mom would sometimes use the TV as a distraction and baby-sitter, like other stay at home parents I've heard of. The try guy mom would leave the kid on the floor or some other part of the house and go to the other room for something and completely ignore the kid. Sometimes she will close the door in the kid's face when she leaves the room and completely ignore the kid's sobs and screams for hours, I kid you not. And she does this while completely ignoring the other kids, so that the other kids will scream in anger and frustration as well. It was just so weird and I didn't understand how this woman could completely ignore her children throwing full blown tantrums and not even bat an eye, and then expect the try guy to do the same thing. It was just so completely a different universe from how I was raised.
