Is the word "pussy" the most hypergolic word in the English language?

It is used to describe male cowards, yet it is also the colloquialism for a female vagina. <br>How is the literal Source of life also the synonym for a coward or scared person? Even the word pussy is associated with cats which are not considered to be cowardly.<br><br>I understand the history behind the word, but it just seems so contradictory.<br>It's like if we called a coward a Dick, or called a loser a Dick.<br>Just weird.
