Apprehensive to meal prep because of the grocery store

She doesn’t do take out anymore, when she wants to eat, it’s no longer an option to order in. I would be so glad if I can convince her to meal prep. My girlfriend is complaining that she doesn’t want to go grocery shopping because of the news of people at grocery stores testing positive for the virus. Also, people coughing and people poor hygiene. Naturally, grocery shopping is the best option to save money and eat healthy. I know grocery stores are taking measures to clean the stores. People still need to grocery shop though. What are some tips I can give my girlfriend to stay safe at the grocery store? If she meal prep, she only needs to grocery shop only once a week to buy a week worth of food.
