Do I just need to accept that I won't have any work-life balance ever?

I just graduated college 2 months ago and got a great job at a consulting firm. However, my work-life balance is practically non-existent. I am averaging 80 hours per week for the past 2 months. I'm tired of being online all day and living at work. I feel like I don't have time anymore to work on my own projects, or play video games with my friends. I'm considering quitting after 1 year and maybe getting a job that allows for more work-life balance.

I can't imagine this is what my life will be like for the next 30 years of my life. I love this job, and I'm learning so much, and I love the people I work with. I just feel so tired and overworked. I mean, I know other people at work who work from 7-6 every day, and they seem to be fine with it. I feel like I'm just not cut out for this and maybe I should lower my expectations and accept that I need to be a slave to my work until I retire.

TL;DR - Is work-life balance a myth?
