Why are normal girls so hard to find?

I am a normal guy who does the normal thing in this world. I work to survive, I have a couple of hobbies, I am interested in science, history, and philosophy. I am reasonably attractive and intelligent (I am top 1% of boys in my generation in my province). While I am around 22 years old, which is a time when you should have your life figured out the most. I don't really have any friends and I have no girl to share my life with. I meet girls in the university and they are all either brain dead or horribly obese, I go to events and again, either horribly obese or with a stuck up attitude. I go on online dating and the girls who are interested are either horribly obese or with a stuck up attitude. I go outside to hangout and the girls I see are either horribly obese or with a stuck up attitude. I feel like I am stuck in some sort of bad joke. Everywhere I go, it is the same repeating theme. Where are the normal girls? There are so many normal guys out there and yet we have no chance to find normal girls. It is like there is a curse. Can someone explain to me what is causing this curse of girls who are horribly obese or with a stuck up attitude?
