What if the United States of America is actually in fact a country, and not a corporation?

I understand that in previous years that the theory that the United States of America is a corporation has had a lot of traction, but, what if the United States of America is in fact actually a country like most other countries on Earth, and not a corporation at all? There are a lot of conspiracy theories going around, but the issue is that there is a lot of disinformation to sift through in order to arrive at the truth of things. The only thing that we can conclude right now is that we can't really believe anything that we hear anymore.
