My girlfriend told me she was going to the hospital. She actually went to get an abortion without even telling me she was pregnant.

My girlfriend of three years went to get an abortion two weeks ago but I didn't know she was pregnant. We use condoms (we have a few times before, skipped them), but I thought she was using birth control too. I guess her birth control stopped being effective a few months ago and she never bothered to tell me, or herself for that matter.<br><br>She told me she was going to the hospital because her mom's brother (who she is very close to) was bothering her a lot and the stress was making her sick. She said she was getting medicine for it, but kept saying she was worried she was going to have a miscarriage. I didn't think anything of it because she told me she was sick, but I should have pressed her for more info.<br><br>I guess I just never thought she was lying because she's never done it before. She told me she was worried about the pregnancy and would I be okay with it. I said I was okay with it, and she said it was too early and she had to wait to make sure the pregnancy was going to be healthy. She said she was still very worried about it. <br><br>Two weeks later her friend accidentally told me she went to the clinic. I confronted her and at first she said she had to get an abortion because the pregnancy was going to kill her, but I asked her to stop bullshitting and she started crying. She admitted that she was worried about raising a child so young especially since we're in school, and she said she thought I'd be upset and she couldn't handle the pressure of having to raise a baby alone. <br><br>I'm upset because she lied to me and didn't even bother to tell me she was pregnant. I feel like she hid the entire thing from me, and it was our child! I told her I wouldn't have minded raising a child with her but she said it was too late now.
