So in Germany, we have a word called "sehnsucht". It's hard to describe, but it's almost like being lonely. But a better definition is empty loneliness. The most common example of sehnsucht is a relationship that you wish you could have, but know that that will never happen. I felt this for a girl in my school. She was so beautiful and perfect, but knew that she would never see me as a romantic partner. It's the worst feeling, as you know that you can never get them back, so all you do is wish for them and imagine a relationship you know can never happen. It's worse than sad, it's just an empty feeling.

Anyone feel like me?
