What's up with all the "I stole a plastic cup and a Starbucks straw" posts?

I'm just here to do some research, I'm not someone who runs this chamber, but I really don't get why a lot of posts here are about stealing Starbucks cups and straws. Is this a popular thing to steal? I feel like I've only seen this post twice in my life, on this chamber and another one, but both were about Starbucks cups and straws.
