What is the best way to monetize my actual labor outside of a 9-5?

So, I'm a salesperson and I work my actual ass off to make money for my company, but no matter how hard I work, it's very fixed on how much money I can make. I am willing to put in a lot of extra work, but I don't think I will actually have a way to make more money. People say 9-5s are the worst and you should be your own boss but the reality is that with entrepreneurship, there's a lot of risk involved and the actual likelihood of success is not high.
