I can’t believe this doesn’t exist. I’ll do it myself if I get enough good feedback here.

Hey all. It has been a recurring thought of mine that there is barely no such thing as ‘apologetics’ for other religions. I want to make a large *database* of **theist** philosophers arguing for their given religion. For example, this could include the likes of these:

Islamic Apologetics:

* Ibn Sina
* Ibn Rushd
* Imam Ghazali
* Allama Iqbal
* Sh Tahir ul Qadri

Catholic Apologetics:

* Saint Augustine
* Aquinas
* Dante Alighieri
* St. Bernadette
* St. Catherine of Sienna

Hindu Apologetics:

* Adi Shankara
* Ramanuja
* Nimbarka
* Vallaba
* *Many* More

Jewish Apologetics:

* Maimonides
* Judah HaLevi
* Nachmanides

**But this be the thing: This isn’t some philosophy database. This is to be a database of what these philosophers and theologians have written about their given worldview and their religion specifically.** I want someone who subscribes to this to be able to pull out full collections of these people’s writing about why they think their particular **sect** is true. The philosophy is fine, but I want to haveAquinas’ arguments for why he believed he was Roman Catholic as opposed to the Protestants, for example. Or why the Catholics are right as opposed to the Orthodox.

I would argue that the amount of philosophers who held these positions are substantial enough that it would be beneficial to anyone who follows any religion to have this information organized and easily available at hand. I would also of course allow anyone to add others if it were to be popular enough.
