Anyone else using budget ingredients to make stuff that's not actually cheap or budget friendly?

I am guilty of that and I can't help it lol<br><br>Right now I'm making a simple beef heart stew. Beef heart is a budget ingredients, yet I am adding pricier ingredients like Kalamata olives, leek, and black truffle garlic powder.
