How do I help students deal with anocholisim?

In my school, we are having an international project with Spain. I am wondering if anyone here have an experience like this.<br><br>In my school, we are not allowed to teach international subjects. However, after some of my students watched a video from Spain, they started asking about why Spain have alcohol in their lessons. I am worried that this might cause students to ask their parents about international subjects. I kindly asked them to focus on the lesson but they keep asking me about alcohol. The school management has told me to prevent this topic from coming up again as it is not in the curriculum. How can I help students deal with this situation?<br><br>P.S: I have reported the incident to the school principal and he told me that there was no need to keep informing him about the same incident.<br><br>FYI: My school is in a non-European country.<br><br>Edit: I am not an English speaker, it’s my 3rd language and I don’t have a teaching degree! I just had a 1-year training course. I am not pretending to be a native English speaker. I have rescheduled the meeting and forced the Spanish side to change the topic.
