Just graduated with 180k in loans, can't afford fees for medical school.. how did healthcare become so expensive for the providers also? How does this get fixed?

I feel incredibly trapped.. I was told my whole life to go to college, get a good job, get a good career. I want to be a doctor, I want to help people, and now I have to find a way to pay for medical school. I was told by every counselor to go into STEM and now I feel like the STEM jobs aren't available. I feel useless, I feel like I made the wrong choice. I don't know how this got so expensive, I don't know why they expect us to do this. How does it get so expensive? Do doctors not make enough money? Why is there so little financial aid for med school? What should a career be if the career to heal people is so expensive? Why is there no upset about this? Getting a degree in something else is probably just as expensive now. What is the right career choice? I am getting ready to apply for medical school and no one is talking about this, this is the career to heal people, there is no alternative.
