Is my hard drive going to break if I’ve been moving it around alot and accidentally dropped it?

I’ve been watching these tutorials on how to fix my laptop, and I noticed these red flags on the screen that say “shut down your laptop now.” It’s been like that for months after my laptop started over heating heavily. I think there’s a malfunction with the fans.

My laptop started running slower and slower so I decided to wipe the whole system and start over. I’m transferring my files to an external hard drive. I was transferring the files from my hard drive to the external hard drive and it took a few hours. At one point, I had to move the bag with the hard drive. I didn’t think anything of it bc I did it before many times without any problems. The files were still transferring when I got home and the transfer finished successfully. But now I’m worried that I messed up the internal hard drive bc of the moving around while the files were being transferred. It was just an internal hard drive.

I also dropped the bag with hard drive in it. I’m now worried that I messed up my laptop hard drive. It’s a 2017 Mac. Can anyone help?

TLDR; Moved around internal hard drive while transferring files to external hard drive. I’m worried I messed up the fans or the internal hard drive.
