What do people mean by "I'm a lot of fun with a drink in my hand"

I just recently heard someone say this and I took it as a compliment, but now I'm starting to think that's not what was meant.<br><br>I'm not a huge drinker. My tolerance is terrible, and I don't like the idea of losing control. I'm also a bit of a homebody, I only go to parties when I have to. However, when I do go to a party, I seem to have a lot of fun. I've been told this by my friends, but I've also been told I'm a lot of fun with a drink in my hand. I'm not sure what to make of it. I'm still myself when I drink (except when I get really drunk). I like to think I'm fun all the time, but now I'm starting to wonder if maybe I'm not unless I have a drink in my hand. Am I just being paranoid?<br><br>&#x200B;
