Saw a kid on the highway.

I’m driving home from work and I see a toddler aged child, alone with no adult in sight. Mind you, he is standing by the road near a tall hill. I pull over and park and ask him if he’s okay. He says he’s lost. I don’t smell alcohol or anything on him so it’s unlikely that he was drinking. I text my SIL (sister in law) who lives in the neighborhood to see if she recognizes the kid. I wait for about 30 minutes. It’s cold and windy so I let him sit in my car so he can warm up.

After a while, I feel something on my leg. I look down and it’s the kid sticking his hand down my shorts. I immediately stop him from going any further and tell him that he cannot do that, especially without permission. I tell him to sit in the back seat for a while as his behavior is concerning.

After about an hour, a woman comes running down the hill saying she’s looking for her son. It was this kid. I told her what happened and she was shocked but thanked me for watching him for over an hour.

I don’t know what that kid saw growing up, but no one should act that way without being taught. It creeped me tf out. Glad I’m not having kids.
