How do we Hindus counter the influence of Christianity on our own people in India?

Nowadays I see several predominantly Hindu areas have a lot of Christian churches and these churches are slowly spreading Christianity in the area. How do we counter the influence of Christianity in India? One of the ways is to support Hindu orgs like VHP, Hindu Jana Jagrauta Samiti etc but what else can we do? I am myself gonna give money to these orgs.
