I’m a solopreneur who’s about to make $100k in one year for the first time in my life. I’m due with my first child in 10 weeks. And I live in a van. AMA.

Hey y’all. I’ve been reading a bunch of posts here about van life and wealth building and wanting to hear people’s stories. So I’m going to share mine.

Happy to answer questions you have, but I’ll get you started with some basics.

**How I make $.:** I run a digital marketing agency, mainly SEO, copywriting, and social media. I have about 20 clients and make over $10k a month.

**How long I’ve been in the van: ** I bought the van in 2019 and renovated it myself for $4k. In 2020 I stopped paying rent and moved in full-time.

**Why I did it: ** I did it for financial freedom, because I don’t like having stuff, and I was tired of feeling like I was a burden on the planet.

**What I’ve learned:** Living in a van has taught me a ton about what matters most to me. I recently wrote a whole post about the spiritual aspects of van life. I’ve learned what I do and don’t need to be happy. I’ve learned that I’m not my stuff, I’m not my career, and I’m not my ego. I’m just me. I’m someone who wants to make a difference, who is excited to be a mom, and who is excited to enjoy the next 60+ years of life.

**What I’m most afraid of:** Transitioning into parenthood. We thought we’d have to have me move in with my parents while I’m on maternity leave, but now I’m just considering a month or two at an Airbnb. I’m just so afraid of disrupting my routine that much.

**What I’m most excited about:** Being a mom. I never thought I wanted to be a mom, but my husband made me realize it’s the right choice for us. I’m most excited to watch my child learn about the world and make a positive impact on it. I’m excited to be someone who helps teach and support them through all the different stages of life.

**What I’m most grateful for:** Love and support for my journey at every stage, including van life and single motherhood. I’m grateful to have a partner who doesn’t want to own more stuff than we need. I’m grateful to have a family who supports my extreme lifestyle choices. I’m grateful for the ability to help others pursue their passions through digital marketing.

So what questions do you have for me?
