How do I get more feedback on my writing?

I’m an aspiring writer and I want to hone my skills more but feedback from other people is hard to come by. I’ve posted my work online but the feedback is few and far between. I’ve even offered to trade free critiques of other people’s work but it’s still hard to get feedback. I’m just wondering if anyone has any advice in these matters.
