Has anyone been to a western country? What was your experience like? Is it as bad as they say?

I’m from hong kong and I think it’s big brain to say that western countries are going to turn into the dark continent . I’ve heard so many negative things about western countries from living there to what I’ve seen on social media. I’ll sum them up here , as well as what the people around me have said about living in western countries.<br><br>• The people in western countries are rude. My girlfriend went to Spain and the people there were “rude” because they weren’t answering her questions in English . <br><br>• They’re a lot more violent. <br><br>• They’re a lot more bigoted . I’ve heard that in the UK , they’re a lot more bigoted towards Chinese people and I’ve seen it on social media . <br><br>• The food in western countries is disgusting. I saw a video a while back on Chinese tiktok that was even in English of a Chinese guy trying western food in Paris. I was thinking ” what the fuck ” is wrong with this guy because he’s saying something as simple as hainanese chicken rice was disgusting. <br><br>I’m not saying that every Westerner is bad or that Westerners are inherently bad. I’ve met a lot of friendly Western people . I live in hong kong though , so it’s not like there are no Western people. I had some White Canadian British friends when I was younger . So I know that not every Westerner is bad .
