I'm a history major who is still in their first year. I'm a junior in university but had to change majors in my second year, so I feel I got a late start in university but I'm really excited to dive deep into the subject. I feel I got a good start with a historical methods class last semester. I'm doing a colonial seminar this semester.

I'm not really sure where I want to go from here. I really loved ancient history when I was younger, which motivated me to get into history in the first place. But when I was an English major, I took a class that was focused on the literary canon from 1800 to 1900, which really got me into the period of history from 1600 to 1900. So, I'm currently on a European history kick, but I still don't really have a narrow range of time or geography that I'm particularly focused on.
