Would you lock your gun away if you knew the police were coming to your house to check for guns?

I have a few questions about the recent gun confiscation in Canada. I know we have some Canadians here on chambers and I would wonder how you would feel about it. The police have been given a list of guns that were bought legally before they were banned, and now they have to go door to door to collect them from people that own them even though they bought them legally. I don't know much about it, but I am interested in hearing from people that live in Canada about it.
