I'm using AI to create a lot of oral and visual content and my friends seem really confused by this

So I've been having this conversation a lot lately.

I'm a writer, as many of you of course know. I'm also an artist and a photographer. I have written and published a lot of stuff, including fiction books and articles, nonfiction books, articles, and a couple of textbooks. I've been writing since I was old enough to hold a pen, and I'm pretty good at it. I've also taken a lot of photos and have had a lot of art shows.

But I'm dropping it all. I'm working on a YouTube channel now and two podcasts.

I'm using ChatGPT, DALL-E 3, and Gemini for all of this, using them to create a lot of visual and oral content.

My friends don't get it. They're all like, "But why? You're so talented and dedicated to your art. Why are you abandoning it for AI?" And I'm like, "I'm not abandoning anything. I'm as passionate about what I'm doing with AI as I was with my writing and art. I'm just really getting into it."

I'm using AI to create all the visual content for my upcoming podcast. I've created hundreds of graphics, icons, avatars, and more. I'm also using it to create storyboards for my next YouTube video. I'm using ChatGPT to help write out scripts and create outlines for future episodes. I'm thinking about using DALL-E 3 to create video thumbnails.

I've also been using AI to create art. I'm having an exhibition of my DALL-E 3 art next week. I've also been using AI to create music, using it to create sounds and beats.

I can already hear the AI haters lining up, saying that this is somehow wrong because I'm using AI to create it. But I don't care. I'm having a blast. I'm loving it. I'm passionate about it. And I'm creating a ton of content.

I know I'm not the only one out there who feels this way. I've talked to a few other people who are using AI to create visual and oral content. Yes, there are haters. But we're out there, loving everything that we're doing.
