Hi, im a lithuanian and im currently in my 20s. What do i think about demographics of Lithuania?
- Lithuanias population is around 2.7 million people. The country is a failed state and can't feed its population. I've heard that the smallest country is Malta with a population of around 400 thousand people. Even Malta is better than Lithuania because Malta is capable of self-sustaining. Lithuania is not capable of self-sustaining, remittances to Lithuania count for around 10% of total GDP. The country is very poor and we rely on EU handouts and imported food. The current situation with war in Ukraine also shows that the country is not self-sustaining and does not have its own food or energy production.
- The county is a total failed state and Lithuanians are brainwashed into thinking that Lithuania is a great and powerful country. Think about it and give me 5 or 3 things why we are great? 2 physical gold medals in 90 years. Great country with great achievements. Lithuanians are poor and pay around 48% tax on income. So 48% of your income is gone as taxes. This is one of the highest tax rates in the EU and in the world. We are also poor in average and we have around 700 euros per month in average. Prices are high, inflation is high and there is no economy or well-paying jobs in the country. The country mostly relies on low-paying industry and agriculture. These jobs are underpaid and a person can't make a good living out of manufacturing and farm work. We are nothing but poor slaves for large corporations. Income tax is 20 % or around 48% including all kinds of taxes. A person can't have a good life with a salary of 700 or 1200 euros per month. Lithuania also has one of the highest suicide rates in the world. Would you like to live a poor and shitty life and rely on EU handouts? I think not. No one wants to be a loser. Lithuania is a failed state and a loser country so no one wants to live here. Because of this we have an enormous brain drain. I think that around 500 thousand people have left the country in the last year. And around 1.5 million have left in the last 10 years. So basically 1/2 of the country has left and went to the EU. Maybe it's time for Lithuania to be left to its own devices and see how we survive without EU handouts and our own workforce? I think that in around 10 years the country will be left with nobody. Our fertility rate is also very low at 1.3 children per family. That is one of the lowest fertility rate in the EU. This is all because the country is a total failed state and a loser country. There is no economy, no jobs and no opportunities. Think about it and why would you have kids in such a poor and shitty country like Lithuania?
