If one of your classes is in-person and the other is online, make sure you check the time zone for the online one. I almost missed a semester-long exam

I don’t know how many of you guys have this issue, but since because my school went remote, I’ve moved back to my parents house for the next two months. I live in Central Time and my classes were online, but when the students moved back, most classes went in-person. One of my classes stayed online, because the professor lives in Florida.

I have this one class that’s modular, which means that it’s a bunch of lessons with a long exam at the end. The problem is that the professor lives in Florida, which is in Eastern Time zone. I accidentally wrote down my time on my schedule, and forgot to check until yesterday. I was 30 minutes into the exam when I checked my schedule and panicked when I saw the time. If I weren’t such a procrastinator, I would have likely missed it. Maybe this is just common sense, but I usually don’t pay attention to different time zones unless I’m traveling.
