Does anyone actually like working on Sundays?

I'm in college and interning for a fairly large public company (so no startups acting like they're changing the world and can work crazy hours) and every single Sunday I get like 5 emails from my bosses btw bossessss acting like the office is on fire and everything needs to be done ASAP. I get that I'm new and don't have much pull with my boss, but Sundays should be sacred like Monday mornings. I know this is a pretty common trend in finance more than other industries, but I can't imagine actually being OK with the idea of ruining your weekend for work. It's like some sort of demonic possession.
