Complaints about new users

I've been on this sub for a little under 1 year now, and I’ve noticed an uptick in posts complaining about new users.<br><br>I’m a bit disappointed by how incredibly unwelcoming it’s becoming in here.<br><br>There are many new gun owners that didn’t grow up in a pro-gun community and are looking for information.<br><br>Yeah, they might not know the best places to get info, but that doesn’t make them bad people. It also doesn’t help if we just belittle and insult them for not knowing something.<br><br>I’ve learned so much from this chamber, but the community is starting to deteriorate because veteran gun owners aren’t willing to share their knowledge with newcomers.<br><br>I’m not veteran, so I don’t have much knowledge to share, but I’m going to try my best to be open to questions and be more patient with new members of this community.<br><br>I suggest you all do the same.
