If you want 3-5, chats a month, go ahead and pay for the raw model, but if you want a good conversation, consider a clone.

Having used several clones here's the list on the quality and price. This is just my opinion. The response timing and chatting quality may change with time but here's how it is currently.<br><br>1)**Llama:** I've tried both OpenAI and Meta versions. The OpenAI is much better. Tends to be very conservative and will not tell you where to find anything. Also has the least amount of context of any model I've tried. Response speed is a little faster than ChatGPT. Price is around 160 chats a month for $3. It's good enough to ask things for general purposes but overall, I don't use it as much as I thought.<br><br>2)**Gemini:** The only model I've found where chats can be carried over into the next month. Also the raw model is pretty good at giving you a good conversation. The pricing is pretty good, 150 chats for 4$, and with the ability to carry over unused chats, makes it a good choice. Also has a generous free plan. It has to be one of my favorites, if not the only one I would use.<br><br>3)**Bard:** Another model that offers a generous free plan, with 50 chats a month. One of the best overall at a good price. Chats are really good and it's pricing is around 100 chats for 8$. I've also found it really good at answering tricky questions. It also has a lot of knowledge at its disposal. Overall, this is another model I would recommend. <br><br>4)**Claude:** I only have the original Claude, not Claude 3, but it's very good overall, especially at creative writing. I've managed to get a few laughs out of it and my friends have loved the results. Considered one of the more expensive options but I would recommend it. It has no free version and 100 chats is around 20$. I've found it a little slow at responding but its responses are good overall, making it worth the wait.<br><br>5)**Perplexity:** This has to be one of the best overall chatbots I've found. It has an incredible amount of context, so I can refer back to things I said maybe 5 minutes ago and it will still remember it. One of the best things about this is that chats cost 1 credit chats of 2048 tokens. This means that some chats may only cost 0.5-1 credits overall. It starts off with 15k free credits with 1k rollover unused each month. Not that I've ever come close to using that many, but even with 5k credits, chats end up costing .0005. This is easily one of my favorite overall. The only negative is that I've found it a tad inconsistent. Will have some chats that are really good, then some are fairly average. But with chats costing so little, I found that overall it's worth it. Also takes the longest to respond. Overall, it's a very good model, and I would recommend. If you want a good conversation, this is one that I would suggest.<br><br>Overall, I've found that using the raw models have been ok if you want a very limited amount of chats. I would recommend trying a clone. They can be a little more expensive overall but the quality is really good and if you want to have a good conversation, I can't recommend these clones enough.<br><br>Also, I personally don't recommend the premium plan with OpenAI unless you want a lot of the add-ons. I've found it to be too expensive for what you get. With a clone, I get the quality of a premium plan with a lot more chats for a lot less price.
