Eye-licking — the start of a new OWO trend?

So I was looking at my same friend’s Instagram posts and saw one from Feb 2020, where he has someone lick his eye. Some of the comments were saying “hey it’s that OWO thing” — which made me curious, so I dug deeper thru his posts, and found one from March 2020, which was captioned “When they say things about OWO things so I’m going to try this out.” that showed a girl licking his eye. Then my friend says “I was just trying to explain to him what OWO is.” And that’s about it. <br><br>So I guess the start of this trend is known, albeit in a very niche/inferior context.
