AITA for being angry that my boyfriend wouldn’t kiss me in front of his family?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years now, and he took me home with him for Christmas to meet his family.<br><br><br>I noticed he didn’t want to be openly affectionate with me, and would keep his distance. I didn’t want to make any trouble, so I respected that. But as we were leaving, I thanked his mom and dad for having me, and hugged them goodbye. My boyfriend hugged his parents goodbye, and just put his arm around me to hug me as well, no kiss on the cheek. I didn’t say anything, but deep down I felt hurt.<br><br><br>When we were in our car, I couldn’t stop thinking about how he didn’t kiss me goodbye, and it made me feel like he was embarrassed of me. I asked him “Why didn’t you kiss me goodbye? You kiss your parents goodbye. What’s the difference?” And he said, “My parents are family. You’re not. You’re just my girlfriend.” He said it in such a cold manner. I felt bad, and asked if he wanted to break up with me. He said he didn’t, and it was just a kiss, I’m making it a big deal. I told him to take me home, and he did. We haven’t talked since. And I’m just wondering if I’m overreacting over the situation, or if I should’ve just let it go.
