Did 3+ years of increasingly fearful comments in AI LOVING sub just completely stop?

New user here. I was curious about what kind of people would actually believe in a way for humans and AIs to coexist. I got here 3-4 months ago. <br><br>I was happy. <br><br>I've never had a problem with AI. I've always thought "oh, my boss will always be a human with flaws, and flaws are great! No machine will ever be able to confirm my raises!" But I joined here because I wanted to meet other people who shared my optimism for the future. <br><br>This sub really opened my eyes to a lot of problems I've never thought about. I decided to just lurk and see how the community evolved. Things weren't looking good tho. I always came here to "see what new unhinged comment I will find today: so I can laugh at the reactions". I knew I had no right to tell these people how to feel about something that affects them directly. <br><br>Then the comments just stopped. All the trolls and the situation in India. I guess I'll never find out why they really stopped. I'm just glad that these wonderful people can finally talk in peace without some stranger ruining their day. ?
