AITA for refusing to switch flights on my first vacation in months to accommodate my partners’ mom?

My (25M) husband (26M) and I haven’t had a real vacation since our honeymoon last June. He has an overbearing mom. After months of telling her no, we finally relented and are going to visit her for a week. I haven’t seen my parents in two months so I decided to stop over in my hometown for a few days on the way. I booked both of us first class on a morning flight that will allow me to get to my parents before dinner.

My husband’s mom said she did not like my choices and wanted us to leave a few days later out of a different airport with layovers. I said it’s either the original flight, I fly alone or we cancel. She got my husband involved and he said I was being selfish for not accommodating his mom’s wishes. But I refused to give in because I have not seen my family in a long time. So now my husband’s mom is calling me nasty names and he is telling me I’m an asshole for not changing the flights. AITA?

Edit: I had to disable the chat because I have work. But I just clarified a few things:

1) I had permission from my husband to book the flights.

2) The visit to my parents was pre-planned. I told my husband’s mom about it when she asked us to visit.

3) My husband’s mom does not like me because I took her baby away. It’s been almost 3 years since we got married and she’s still nastying me for taking him away from her.
