I'm so tired of trying to find a friend

The last few years have been hard. I had to leave my family due to catching Covid and getting evicted and ending up in a shelter. The only good thing that came out of it was my roommate because they became a friend of mines but with the economy and jobs we constantly only stay a few months and get ready to leave so it's hard to form a friendship.<br><br>I've tried numerous times to meet people in person to make friends but never good results. I tried online but I either get no replies, ghosted or if I get a reply I only get an initial conversation. I'm tired of trying to make friends.<br><br>I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad. I just want to vent that I'm tired of trying to find a friend. Every time I feel like I'm getting close I get disappointed. I barely talk to anyone and I'm already lonely because my roommates work opposite shifts so I'm kinda just alone.
