From a long term perspective, humanity is an invasive species and has displaced its natural native environment, e.g. savannahs are now agricultural lands. This creates a conflict with its natural environment, with the native species, and with itself.

This perspective on humanity needs to be reflected upon, so the human species can come to terms with its place in the world, and understand its relationship with the natural and man-made environment.
