I'm 22, I'm from Latin America, and I got my first "real job", I work for a transnational corporation in the industry that provides the 40% of the PIB of my country, I'm from the middle class and I live in a middle class zone (I don't know how different zones are between countries, but in mine, the name of the neighborhood gives you a rough idea of the socio-economic status of the people that lives there, that means I live in a neighborhood that is nothing too fancy, but I don't feel unsafe walking around late at night), the money for what I've been saving for 6 years are not even enough to buy a car, the country is not in a great shape, and I'm not sure if I should begin to save money now, or is that a privilege of first world countries, and I should spend and save money for the day-to-day, does anyone has tips on that? I already live in a place that has the bare essentials plus some extra stuff that I will need to do my job, so I can just put my salary in savings, but I'm not sure if I would be making a mistake doing that, I've been told that I don't really have the best macroeconomy to save money for retirement, etc. So, what do you think?

P.S. I've asked for advice from other places (Chambers), but the only answer that I got is "Save as much as you can", so, if you're going to give me that advice, please give me more details on how to do it, thanks.
