"Black People are just inferior to other races."

I found a post on one of my socials, a photo of some random Black person asking if this was normal. They wore a bright, bold purple afro wig, Black lipstick, and a shirt with some kind of print on it, though I couldn't make it out. It was what they chose to wear and put on themselves. I couldn't see anything wrong with it. I've seen a lot of people in my life with weird hairstyles and clothing and that's perfectly OK to me. It's not anybody's business how anyone decides to carry themselves. Not a single one of us is the same in this world, no matter race. So, I commented saying this.

That's when the whole argument started. I was "condemning" Black people. "They're just inferior to other races." This is the second time I've heard this. The first time I heard it was in a conversation from a friend of a friend, and it involved a video of a young Black man and young Black woman who were in a store, and the young man was hitting and punching a figure in a store mannequin. The woman was laughing at him and the friend of a friend called this racist. I've also seen tons of videos of white men and white women who act far worse in stores, super markets, gas stations, etc., and do far worse things like scream in the faces of workers, attack workers, attack random people they've never met, and attack random animals.

I asked for this person's source of this statement and they told me it was from Jordan Peterson. Now, I have never really looked into him or his work. I have no problem with him, I am just not really interested in him. I'm not really sure what to make of this statement. Why would a whole race be "inferior" to others? Why would the race of someone dictate their worth? I don't understand. I'd like to. So, if one of you could explain this to me, that would be great.
