Feedback / beta reader wanted for my novel

Hello,<br><br>I'll be as short as possible, if you're interested, I'll go into more details.<br><br>I'm a Canadian high-school student (17 years old), and I have worked on a 340 000 word novel for about four years. It is an alternate history setting with magic, taking place in modern-day Europe. I have recently decided to self-publish my work, and I would like to have some of it beta-read to make sure it is as good as I can make it. <br><br>My main aim is to check up on some historical details in the story. While I took inspiration from the Cold War, some plot points, locations and events are changed to fit the story. It should be easily readable for anyone with a general knowledge of the Cold War, though it is intended for readers willing to do some research in order to better understand the story. <br><br>It is mostly a lot of politics and war in the story. A lot of characters die. That's about all you need to know in order to ask for it. <br><br>I have a beta reader already, but I want to find someone whose native language is not French (like me) so I can have an opinion on it in English.
