Why do people hate Language Transfer?

Ok, I wanna preface this by saying I am not a fanboy of Language Transfer, although the podcasts are really helpful (I only used them for German and Portuguese that much so far, and it is super good)

But I don't get why people are so critical about it. In my opinion he is a great teacher. His content is amazing and FREE. I don't get why people are so harsh with him. I know that in his videos he says things that are to be considered "wrong" but he explains the real usage that you would never find in a classroom. I was in a german class for over a year and none of the teachers ever mentioned a lot of the phrases that he mentions.

He is not the best speaker of all the languages and it is not perfect. I was expecting way worse after all the crap I read about language transfer.

I like that he stopped doing his own videos and has been recording with a Native Speaker of the target language, a lot better.

What did you think about it? Do you like it? Did you used it? What do you think about his "mistakes"?
