I made cheese pull Mac and cheese from scratch a week ago and ate leftovers so now I’m broke. Thanks reddit.

I’ve had this post saved. I saw it on a throwaway account and I don’t remember the recipe, but I think I saw it on this sub.

This was so easy to make. I spent about 35 minutes making it.

I didn’t see the recipe about the cheese soup cheese pull Mac and cheese, so just use a basic cheese sauce for Mac and cheese.

Make the cheese sauce with 2 tablespoons of normal butter and one tablespoon of salted butter and stir until combined. Then add in 2 cups of cheese. I used cheddar and mozzarella since it’s on sale. I’ve used Monterey jack also, it’s also a great cheese for this.

I didn’t stir the cheese, and just let it sit for about two minutes. It looked a little weird but then I stirred it and it was combined.

I used 1 pound of pasta. If you do penne or elbow you don’t need to buy anything extra. I used the egg noodles and it gives it a nice Mac and cheese flavor.

So I mixed the pasta and the cheese and I added in the cooked Mac, then 2 tablespoons of milk, 1/2 cup of grated cheese, and 3 grated crackers on top. I’ve used buttered breadcrumbs, it’s also a lot easier than crackers. And you don’t need to butter the crackers to grate them, just put them in a bag and use a rolling pin to crush them.

I put some of the cheese pull Mac and cheese in the oven and it was so easy to do.

If you want a cheese pull, you can melt 3 tablespoons of cheese in the microwave for about 30 seconds. It gives it a nice cheese pull.

What are your favorite Mac and cheese recipes? My favorite is just the grilled cheese croutons, it’s so easy and those are amazing and so cheap.

This cheese pull Mac and cheese was so good, it’s in my rotation now.
