I save all my left over pasta sauce in a container and at the end of the month I make pizza and soup. This way I’m saving money and not throwing out the sauce.
I’m not big on leftovers so I find it’s fun to get creative and make new stuff and not throw anything out.

Soup

Even if I just have some broth left from cooking veggies I save it in a container too. I add veggie broths and pinto beans and just heat it up.
Or I save pasta or some left over rice.

Pita pizza

1 cup flour
1 cup water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp yeast.

I heat up the water a bit and put the yeast in and let it sit for a few minutes. Then I add the other ingredients and knead the dough for about 10 minutes.

Set the timer for 10 minutes and let it sit. Then I roll it out a bit and put some pasta sauce on it and shredded cheese or sliced cheese and some veggies and cook it on a baking sheet until it’s done and the crust is crispy.

If you are a beginner at making pizza this recipe is super easy to make and it’s cheap.

I get flour for $3.99, yeast for $2 and salt for $1. That’s super cheap. We pay $17 for deliverance pizzas here and you get 4 slices of pizza.

I’m going to get a pizza stone and practice making them from scratch more.
